Supported by the National Arts Council, Asia’s biggest international brass music festival returns 1 to 4 June 2012.
Since the inauguration in 2010, Brass Explosion has been watched and enjoyed by a combined audience of over 10,000 people with over 600 brass playing students enriched, performed and showcased their talents on this international stage.
The well celebrated and supported annual music event in Singapore generated over 63 pieces of media coverage worth more than $1.7 million in PR value in 2011 across Channel NewsAsia, Channel 8 Good Morning Singapore, The Straits Times, The Business Times and Lianhe Zaobao.
A series of performances, educational programmes and activities across the four days would be rolled out with the purpose to ensure that:
- Every brass playing child in Singapore to have access and receive the requisite musical education and opportunities to perform on an international stage.
- Every brass bandmaster in Singapore to engage with and exchange teaching and management knowledge with students, teachers, enthusiasts beyond the brass community.
- Singaporeans from all walks of life to have access participate and share the joy of brass music.
